Françoise Haumont is Managing Partner of Archipelago Brussels and member of the Board of Archipelago Architects.
In 1989, Françoise joined the architectural firm Emile Verhaegen as a project manager.Health (hospitals), care (Rest & Care Homes), education (schools) are the main fields in which she evolves and buildings she studies.
At the dawn of the 2000s, she is involved in the continuous improvement approach, not only in the quality of projects (ISO 9001), but also in collaborative processes with among others the development of Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools.
In 2008, she became the R&D director of the architecture office (renamed BAEV) and became its administrator in 2013.
In 2016, she takes an active part in the creation of archipelago architects, a merger of BAEV and ar-te, an architecture office located in Leuven.
Françoise is a civil engineer architect, graduate of UCL. She also holds the BIM Manager certificate.
She also attended the Solvay Institute's training courses "Being a director of a small business" and "Philosophy and Management".
